About This Role:

Are you an experienced automotive professional ready to take the next step in your career? Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing is looking for a motivated, experienced Automotive Store Manager to help lead our Decorah Road location! We are a family-owned and operated business that takes pride in providing honest, quality automotive service while building lasting relationships with our customers and employees. With multiple locations and a growing team, we're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of their store, lead by example, and help us continue growing.

This is a hands-on leadership position. We're looking for someone who has a strong automotive background, enjoys working with people, and isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed.

What You'll Be Doing:

Oversee daily shop operations to keep work moving efficiently and customers satisfied.
Lead, coach, and support technicians and service advisors.
Help service advisors with customer communication, repair recommendations, and workflow.
Monitor shop performance, productivity, sales, and profitability goals.
Hold employees accountable while creating a positive, team-focused work environment.
Work closely with company leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Ensure our customers receive honest, professional, and high-quality service.

What We're Looking For:

Strong automotive repair and industry experience.
Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle concerns and support technicians.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
A positive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of the store's success.
Commitment to customer satisfaction, teamwork, and accountability.
Follow all safety procedures and use provided safety equipment.
Adapt to change with a positive, high-energy mindset.
Commit to continuous learning and personal development.

Our Core Values:

Growth – Professionally and personally.
Accountability – We do what we say we’ll do.
Integrity – With customers and each other.
Transparency – No games, no guesswork.

What You Can Expect From Us:

We believe great work happens when people are supported, respected, and balanced.

No nights or weekends: Your time matters. We protect work–life balance so you can be present at work and at home.
Competitive pay: Based on experience.
Monthly performance bonuses: When the shop succeeds, you share in that success.
Benefits valued at approximately $5.50 additional per hour: Medical, dental, vision, life, and short- & long-term disability coverage after 30 days.
Paid time off with yearly increases: PTO starts after just 90 days and grows over time.
Paid holidays — even when they fall on weekends: Important days are meant to be spent with family.
401(k) with 4% company match: We invest in your future, not just your output.
Paid training, certifications & continued education: We support long-term career growth, not burnout.

If you’re ready to join a team that thinks long-term—about customers, employees, and the future—we’d love to meet you. All inquiries will remain confidential.
